In honoring this commitment, we offer scholarships to help offset the cost of summer camp enrollment fees. Scholarships awarded for summer camp are non-transferrable and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, or applied toward another program.

For Summer Camp 2024 we are able to offer 15 $200 scholarships with a maximum of one scholarship per camper.

To request a scholarship, fill out this form between January 31 at 10 a.m. and February 8 at 3 p.m. We will accept scholarship requests on a first-come first-served basis but requests must be time-stamped on 1/31 at 10am or later ((early requests will not be considered). If selected for a scholarship, you will be notified by email before camp registration opens on February 14.

Art Works Now is a nonprofit organization and our summer camps are licensed through the State of Maryland. In order to offer high-quality art education, keep our camp prices as low as possible, pay our Teaching Artists and Teaching Artist Assistants a fair wage, and meet or exceed state requirements for child to adult ratios, we are no longer able to provide refunds. We may be able to move your child to another week or camp depending on availability. But please note that some weeks fill up very quickly so changing weeks may not be possible.

8. What should my child wear to camp?

Expect your child to get messy at art camp! Children should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy. Children are welcome to bring an apron or large t-shirt to wear over their clothes.
