“Light & Lovely” Watercolor (Intermediate/Advanced)
This VIRTUAL class will be a bit more advanced although all are welcome! We will revisit and utilize many watercolor techniques that may be familiar. Color theory will be important in our explorations as will all of the elements of art and principles of design. Growth and joy with the watercolor medium will be our primary focus. “Shake it Up” Watercolor (Beginner)
In this VIRTUAL class we will utilize many watercolor techniques and shake it up by incorporating these techniques with collage and a bit of mixed media. Color theory will be important in our explorations! We will spend some time getting to know masking fluid and other ways to support white and negative space in our work. No experience is required. Hand Embroidery – Landscapes
Join us this winter for some cozy, colorful, and beautiful hand embroidery. We will explore stitches for creating lines, fields or color, and texture while we each create a unique landscape sampler. Hand embroidery is the ultimate inexpensive, portable, flexible, and meditative creative activity. This class is perfect for beginners as we will cover all the basic techniques from scratch. Experienced stitchers will be able to expand their creative expression with needle and thread. Teaching Artist: Cynthia Gossage

Inspired by Nature
In this class we will be looking to the natural world for inspiration and learning about artists who feature the natural world in their work. We will be drawing, painting, and creating an animal/insect sculpture. Artists of all levels of experience and abilities are welcome. Teaching Artist: Rachel Cross

Paperpalooza
In this class, we will be learning about the history of paper and contemporary artists using paper in interesting ways. We will be creating 2-D and 3-D artworks and even making our own paper. Artists of all levels of experience and abilities are welcome. Teaching Artist: Rachel Cross
