Art Works Now invites you to Create Community and Create in Community!
Bring your own work in progress & supplies or use Art Works Now supplies to create art during this Open Studio time!
All welcome! Kids 15 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration for Open Studio is ongoing. Please register in advance. Walk-ins are welcome as space permits.

Hand Embroidery
Expand your creative expression with needle and thread! Focus on learning embroidery techniques as a means to create beautiful patterns and draw a variety of objects and scenes on cloth. This spring we will be working with linen and cotton fabrics, which provide a lovely, supple base for hand stitches of all kinds. This class is perfect for stitchers of all levels of experience as we will cover all the basics as well as more advanced techniques for those with more experience. Teaching Artist: Cindy Gossage

Drawing Fundamentals: Portraits & Figures
Learn to capture the human form! This course introduces students to traditional drawing materials such as pencils, charcoal, conte crayon, and ink. Through exercises in portraiture and figure drawing—both from life and reference—students will develop their observational skills, refine their techniques, and explore personal expression. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, this class welcomes artists of all levels.
