Scholarships awarded for summer camp are non-transferrable and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, or applied toward another program.

For Summer Camp 2025 we are able to offer 20 $250 scholarships with a maximum of one scholarship per camper.

To request a scholarship, fill out this form between January 31 at 10 a.m. and February 7 at 3 p.m. We will accept scholarship requests on a first-come first-served basis but requests must be time-stamped on 1/31 at 10 a.mm or later (early requests will not be considered). Art Works Now is a nonprofit organization. We offer high-quality art education classes at free, sliding-scale and reduced cost pricing. We endeavor to pay our staff, Teaching Artists and Teaching Artist Assistants a fair wage.

If you find you are no longer able to participate in a class or camp we will be happy to convert your payment to a tax-deductible donation.

You can also transfer your seat to someone else who meets the participant criteria for the class. This transfer is entirely between you and the other party, however you must provide the name and contact information for the new participant to Art Works Now prior to the first class. If you transfer a summer camp spot, Art Works Now must receive the new camper’s required forms a minimum of two weeks prior to their first day of camp or we will not be able to accept the new camper.

8. What should my child wear to camp?

Expect your child to get messy at art camp! Children should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy. Children are welcome to bring an apron or large t-shirt to wear over their clothes.
